Notes from October 14, 2004 ENA Growth Committee Meeting

We started by reviewing the current Neighborhood Plan.  We made note of items that are out of date and should be removed as well as items that require some updating to reflect the present and future state of the neighborhood.

We began a discussion of the vision for our neighborhood and the qualities that our neighborhood enjoys and would like to see maintained in the future: quiet, solitude, dramatic geography, stunning marine and territorial views, green space and mature forested areas. Then we discussed specific improvements or enhancements to the area: sidewalks, access trails to public viewing sites and the shoreline, small parks or play lots and future development guidelines.

This vision assessing procedure is a neighborhood wide topic therefore we need input from everyone regarding your vision for the Edgemoor Neighborhood ’s future direction. Come to a meeting or contact the committee with your ideas.
